Swimming Pool

Starting February 3rd, we are implementing a new system for lane swimming at the JFC pool. We will be opening two lanes of the pool for open swim. On these lanes, you don’t need to reserve a lane online - you can just show up! It is a first come, first serve bases with a maximum of 5 swimmers per lane.

To comply with safety rules set by our lifeguards, you can swim during the following time slots:

10:50 - 11:30
11:40 - 12:20
12:30 - 13:10
13:20 - 14:00

You are welcome to arrive anytime during those 40 minutes. Once you leave the pool, another patron is able to step in. Lane swimmers will swim counter clockwise. If you want to reserve a lane where it's only two people per lane, you are still able to do so online. You can do so at the top of our website under the online booking system. You are responsible for your own schedule and timing.

Sign your child up for swim lessons! AquaZuyd offers child swim lessons starting at the age of 4. Kids are able to graduate with their A, B, or C level swim proficiency. Lessons are held at the JFC swimming pool. To find out more, visit their website here.

Open Studio Thursdays

Come flex your creative muscles! Every Thursday from 1000 – 1300.The studio will be open for you to explore various creative activities. We are currently focusing on clay activities with our skilled ceramic instructor.

Upcoming Classes:

o Paint & Sip – Feb. 5^th, 18:30 - 20:30

Theme: Van Gogh’s Love Blossoms. Your painting can be completed by putting 2 canvases together, or you can complete it on one. Guided painting suitable for all skill levels.

€25 per canvas. Open to ages +16 years.

o Venetian Mask Decorating – Feb. 12^th, 18:30 - 20:30

Decorate a venetian mask with fabric, paints, feathers, gold leaf, jewels, and more! You can choose different styles of mask to wear for carnival or as house décor.

€23 per mask. Open to ages +12 years.

o Intro to Stained Glass Workshop – Feb. 19^th, 18:15 - 20:45

Learn the basics for Tiffany styled stained glass projects. Suitable for all skill levels. After this intro course, you will have access to our monthly stained glass open studio on Monday evenings!

€38 per person. Open to ages +16 years.

o Reverse Stained Glass – Feb. 26^th, 18:30 - 20:30

Create your own reverse glass painting! In this ancient technique, you will take home your own framed glass painting ready to hang on your wall.

€27 per canvas. Open to ages +12 years.
